My bestie and I woke up bright and early to see what all the buzz was about at our local Gilcrease Orchard. I have lived in Vegas for over 17 years and this was my first time going. Surrounded by fresh fall air and sweet fruit trees made this outing absolutely perfect!!
The weather was amazing. If you stood in one spot for too long it became a little warm but the soft breeze cooled us down real quick. We took a wagon ride that was pulled by a tracker. It toured us around the entire Orchard. We saw their vegetable garden, pumpkin patch and chicken coop. We also learned about how their bees pollinate and that owls burrow 3 feet below the ground. The wagon ride was our favorite part of the whole day. We even road it twice!
Luscian saw his very first pumpkin. He was pretty impressed by it, but couldn't figure out how to pick it up. We were told that Gilcrease makes fresh apple cider donuts, so of course we had to check it out. They were worth the long wait in line. The price points were very reasonable. I got 6 mini donuts with cream cheese frosting and a coffee for only $4. Water bottles were $1 each. This is definitely a place to take the family. If you haven't gone I highly recommend it. Admission is FREE!!
My fall inventory just arrived and I am obsessed with the Cardigans and Lace Dresses.
