Have you been to SeaQuest? It is an Interactive Aquarium in Las Vegas that has hands on exhibits for the entire family. You can experience so many places under one roof like the rain-forest, desert and Caribbean. You can touch stingrays, feed exotic birds, see jellyfish, sit with lizards and so much more.
I would recommend bringing a stroller if you have little ones. There is a decent amount of walking throughout the facility. We went the second week of January and they are still under a good amount of construction. Even though the place is not 100% complete we still had a great time and the baby had plenty of stuff to interact with.
In the Amazon Rain-forest we saw Freshwater Stingrays, Arowana, Pacu, Red Eared Sliders and Iguanas.
In the California Coast you will get to look at a Giant Pacific Octopus, Wolf Eel, Cold Starfish, Anemones and Moon Jellyfish.
The Mayan Jungle is pretty cool. We were able to see Eels, Caiman Lizards, Jackson Chameleon, Soft Shelled Turtles, Cichlids, Frogs, Corals and Reef Fish, Brazilian Seahorses and River Fish.
The Caribbean Cove was one of our favorites! We played in the water with the stingrays. The front desk actually told us that we can schedule a time to go snorkeling with them if we wanted to.
The Egyptian Desert had a Giant Tortoise. The baby really wanted to share his toy fan with him. My dad was visiting from California and handed the baby this toy while we were waiting in line. Little did he know that Luscian considered it a gift haha! Needless to say my dad bought it for him. He has been playing with it ever since.
We saw online that they have mermaids, but they were not out while we were there. It might be a weekend thing. I am not sure. We were not bothered that they were not around, but if you have a kid who really wants to see the mermaids make sure you call ahead to check what days they are out and about. We had plenty of fun playing with the fish, birds and turtles.
The last exhibit we saw had sharks. They said you can hand feed them but we weren't going to take any chances.
Feeding the birds was probably the most entertaining moment of the day. They landed on my head and the babies head. He didn't know what to do with them. It was hilarious. Overall we had a wonderful time. It's a great place to bring the family. We will definitely go back.
I wore my Melrose Tank under my plaid button up top. I have loathed wearing jeans lately. I just stocked my boutique with Lindsey Jeggings. They are the best! Great alternative to jeans. Soft, comfortable and have incredible flexibility for an active lifestyle. Shop my look HERE or click on the photo to shop my Facebook Group page.
